Proof I Don't Hate Gays Addendum

A user heckled me on Tumblr when I protested that I'm not homophobic and  stated that I admire Pete Buttigieg and Sir Elton John despite disagreeing with their personal lifestyle choices. So it's time to tell a bit more in the hopes that people will understand that I don't hate or dislike gays: I went to an Elton John concert in October. The concert was amazing and I enjoyed every second of it. 

While I was at that concert, there wasn't even a single ounce of hate, dislike, homophobia, bigotry, or intolerance in my being.  Just a great deal of wonder and awe. I was full of wonder and awestruck that I was actually seeing the legendary Sir Elton John perform live. I was full of wonder and awestruck that it was actually him.  I was awestruck and full of wonder at the amount of energy he had. I was full of wonder and awestruck about how good of a pianist he is. My hands were on the verge of becoming sore merely from watching his fingers dance across the piano keys so fast and with so much energy via the videoscreens. I was awestruck and full of wonder at how good he sounded for a 75-year-old. I loved all three of his outfits that night. But most importantly, I was lost in his music.
