Having A Grasp on Reality

Having a grasp on reality, both transcendent and temporal, is something I place a high value on. Yet I do not cluck at people who don't. Or I make a good effort not to.

There is a good portion of Catholics who don't believe in the Real Presence or that Jesus will come back. I believe both of those things with every fiber of my being, but I will not cluck at those who don't.

I accept that COVID is real, that George Floyd was murdered, that Joe Biden won the 2020 election, and that Russia invaded Ukraine without provocation. President Zelensky did not let Russian forces bulldoze a good portion of his country. On the contrary, it is very clear to me that the Ukrainians will fight to the last man if they have to.

I am highly skeptical of conspiracy theories and I will not give deference to conspiracy theories that have no solid foundation or have been debunked.

But I will not cluck at those who espouse conspiracy theories or deny any of the events above.
